Ipsen is seeking a <strong>Maintenance & Reliability Director</strong> to lead our site’s engineering function, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance across all infrastructure and systems.<br><br>As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you’ll drive innovation, lead a high-performing team, and be the primary interface between our global engineering function and the Wrexham site.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead and develop a skilled maintenance and reliability team to meet current and future operational demands.</li><li>Champion structured maintenance systems (e.g. TPM, Reliability Maintenance) to minimise downtime and maximise system availability.</li><li>Ensure EHS compliance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices through benchmarking and performance metrics.</li><li>Oversee infrastructure validation and manage annual shutdowns with minimal business disruption.</li><li>Support infrastructure investments from a M&R perspective through maintenance user requirements, calibration, validation, and training input.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Significant experience in a Director level position from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably on an FDA approved site</li><li>Natural leader with the ability to motivate, influence and transform</li><li>Experience leading large teams of 30+ and managing complex projects.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Ready to Make an Impact?<br><br></strong>Join us in creating real impact every day for patients and society.
