Position Overview

The Lead Pick / Pack Associate is responsible for overseeing daily order fulfillment

operations within the warehouse. This role ensures orders are picked, packed, and

prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently while supporting team productivity,

quality standards, and operational workflows. The Lead Associate works closely with

warehouse supervisors and operations management to coordinate labor, maintain

inventory accuracy, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment Oversight

· Lead daily pick and pack operations to ensure customer orders are processed

accurately and on schedule.

· Monitor order queues and prioritize tasks to meet shipping cut-off times and

SLAs.

· Ensure proper packing procedures, labeling, and documentation for all outbound

shipments.

· Verify order accuracy and packaging quality before orders are released for

shipping.

Team Leadership

· Provide day-to-day guidance and support to pick/pack associates on the

warehouse floor.

· Assist supervisors with training new employees on picking systems, packing

standards, and safety procedures.

· Monitor team productivity and provide coaching to improve efficiency and

accuracy.

· Serve as the point of contact for team members during assigned shifts.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

· Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock

verification.

· Ensure products are picked from correct locations and inventory is properly

recorded in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).

· Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues.

Process & Quality Control

· Maintain high standards for order accuracy, packaging quality, and

warehouse organization.

· Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for picking, packing, and

shipping.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce

errors.

Safety & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

· Promote safe handling of products and equipment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in warehouse fulfillment, distribution, or 3PL

operations

· Prior lead or team leadership experience preferred

· Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld RF

scanners

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume fulfillment environment

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

· Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures

Preferred Skills

· Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or 3PL environments

· Knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)

· Basic inventory control and cycle count experience

· Strong communication and team coordination skills

Work Schedule

· 30-35 hours/week

· Shift-based schedule, including possible overtime during peak periods

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
