Position Detail

Landscape maintenance laborer

This is a full time seasonal position running from April to December. Hours are Monday-Friday, 40 hrs per week with occasional weekend work. Additional hours available depending on work load.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of basic landscaping duties, including but not limited to:

  • Lawn mowing, trimming, and edging
  • Spring and fall clean-ups
  • Mulching beds and planting shrubs, trees, and flowers
  • Pruning and basic hedge trimming
  • Leaf removal and debris cleanup
  • Loading/unloading tools, equipment, and materials
  • Operating basic landscaping equipment safely
  • Assisting with general property maintenance
  • Following directions and working as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis with assigned work and responsibilities.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a CORI and SORI background check
  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 5 years
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Three (3) positive references
  • Experience operating large trucks and trailers is highly desired but willing to train the right person.
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude and team leader.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $23-$26hr (Ability to make more hourly depending on experience and performance)

PTO: Paid time off to support work-life balance.
