<p><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As a Labourer II, you will ensure proper maintenance and beautification of municipal cemeteries and traditional burial grounds while providing exceptional customer service to patrons and guests.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Your ability to work with minimal supervision in a changing, sensitive environment will contribute to the success of City service delivery and operational goals.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What will you do?</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Interact with the public in a professional manner, especially in sensitive situations</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Accommodate various cultural group traditions including pall bearing for casket services</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Operate and complete minor maintenance on equipment</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Operate hand tools such as planners, power saw/drills and bull float</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Dig and locate graves, make frames, mix concrete and install stones</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Read surveyed grades and design blueprints, ensuring accurate locating of construction points</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform interments and disinterment which include the removing, handling and transporting of human remains</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Construct forms, mix concrete, install grave markers and fine finish edges around grave markers</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Locate grave locations without clear reference points in surveyed and unsurveyed cemeteries</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist the Turf and Horticulture Team with maintenance and beautification of cemetery style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Completion of Grade 10, High School Diploma is preferred</span></li><li><span style="color:black;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1 year labour experience including maintenance, landscaping, concrete work, or groundskeeping duties, in cemeteries, parks or a similar work environment</span></li></ul><p><span
