Position Overview

Legrand’s Data Center Power and Control Division is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customers and sales managers within an assigned territory. In this collaborative role, you will help customers navigate product options, support order management, and contribute to a positive, solution-oriented experience.

 

This is a remote role reporting to Farmingdale, NY.

 

What Will You Do

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with customers and partners by providing timely, helpful information.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order data in Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP.
  • Respond to questions about order status, shipping timelines, and product availability while coordinating followthrough.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify product solutions that align with customer needs and project goals.
  • Support account administration activities, including preparing quotes and assisting with customer requests.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, and product support teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current on new products, features, and industry trends.
  • Help resolve customer concerns by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and escalating when appropriate.
  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, enhance collaboration, or elevate customer experience.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed

 

Annual Salary - $65,000-$70,000

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales or sales support.
  • Experience working standard East Coast business hours.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (preferred).
  • Experience in technology or data center environments (preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand technical specification sheets (preferred).
