Industry Manager, Global Strategic Accounts

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

The Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) team is an essential strategic force for the largest advertisers and agencies in the world to help them drive business growth powered by the best of Reddit.

As an Industry Manager, you will lead a high-performing pod of Client Partners and Account Managers focused on a portfolio of Reddit’s most important global customers headquartered in Europe. You will be accountable for team revenue performance, talent development, and strategic account direction. You will set the pod go-to-market strategy, guide rigorous account planning, deepen C‑suite relationships, execute complex deals, and scale always-on, multi-region partnerships. This role requires a leader who can operate at both deal and portfolio level—balancing hands-on support with building systems, playbooks, and operating rhythms that scale.

You will report into a Director, Global Strategic Accounts and collaborate closely with LCS regional leaders, XFN partners, and global GSA pods to drive YoY growth and product diversification in line with Reddit’s broader commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing sales pod

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Client Partners and Account Managers covering a defined set of global strategic accounts, setting a high performance bar.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and pipeline inspections to ensure the team is executing with rigor against revenue targets, operating to shared standards, and continuously improving coverage and quality of client engagement.
  • Identify skill gaps and design individual development plans, including mentoring, training, and stretch opportunities that enable IC progression across the ladder.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and feedback, celebrating top performance while addressing underperformance fairly and promptly.

Own pod strategy, forecasting, and revenue accountability

  • Build and execute quarterly and annual business plans for the pod—setting revenue targets, defining product and vertical priorities, and establishing pacing milestones that ladder up to GSA and LCS goals.
  • Use internal and external data (Reddit signals, industry benchmarks, client public filings, measurement results) to inform segment strategy, whitespace analysis, and share-of-wallet growth plans for your accounts.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline; partner with Sales Finance and Sales Ops on scenario planning, quota deployment, and coverage models.
  • Ensure the pod consistently meets or exceeds revenue targets, with a focus on YoY growth, revenue diversification across ad products, and global growth.

Elevate strategic client and agency partnerships

  • Build and strengthen senior and C‑suite relationships across client and agency stakeholders; personally lead or support critical executive meetings and QBRs.
  • Oversee the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) agreements, ensuring Reddit secures long-term, multi-market commitments and preferred partner status.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers insight-led, consultative narratives that connect Reddit’s value proposition to the client’s broader business, not just media metrics.

Drive cross-functional execution and product adoption

  • Partner with KarmaLab, Marketing Science, Product, Measurement, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing, to design and deliver holistic, outcome-focused programs for your portfolio.
  • Champion priority products and betas (e.g., new formats, performance solutions, measurement integrations), driving adoption in your book and contributing learnings back to product and go-to-market teams.
  • Aggregate pod-level market feedback and product requirements and translate them into structured input that influences roadmaps, measurement capabilities, and sales narratives.
  • Ensure operational excellence in campaign execution, from briefing and creative development through measurement and iteration, holding the pod and XFN stakeholders accountable to high delivery standards.

Build global coordination and operating rhythms

  • Establish repeatable operating cadences (e.g., QBRs, forecast reviews, deal councils) within the pod and with XFN partners to ensure alignment on priorities, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with GSA colleagues in other regions to harmonize global account strategies, share playbooks, and coordinate on enterprise-wide opportunities and challenges.
  • Contribute to vertical and channel-level initiatives (e.g., global playbooks, sales training, industry narratives) that scale beyond your immediate pod.

Hire, onboard, and grow talent

  • Serve as a frontline hiring manager for Client Partner and Account Manager roles aligned to your pod; partner with recruiting and leadership to maintain a diverse, high-caliber talent pipeline.
  • Lead structured onboarding for new hires, ensuring they ramp quickly on Reddit’s products, processes, and client books while building strong XFN relationships.
  • Proactively identify succession plans and future leaders within the pod, creating opportunities for ICs to take on expanded responsibility (e.g., acting as deal captains, mentoring, project ownership).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, ad-tech, or social platforms, including 5+ years in quota-carrying enterprise sales roles serving large, complex advertisers and agencies.
  • 2+ years of people management experience or substantial track record as a team lead (e.g., mentoring ICs, leading virtual pods, or owning workstreams).
  • Proven history of exceeding revenue targets and growing multi-million-dollar books of business within high-consideration, omnichannel categories (e.g., tech, consumer electronics, retail, telco).
  • Demonstrated ability to run executive-level client and agency meetings, including with VP/C‑suite stakeholders—setting clear agendas, aligning on outcomes, and driving decisions.
  • Strong strategic and quantitative skills: able to synthesize data from multiple sources (performance, measurement, client business metrics, industry trends) into clear strategies and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex concepts into concise, compelling narratives for both internal and external audiences.
  • Deep familiarity with the digital and social advertising landscape, including auction dynamics, measurement frameworks, and the role of platforms like Reddit in omni-channel media plans.
  • Prior experience leading teams responsible for global or multi-market accounts, coordinating across regions and time zones.
  • Track record of structuring and closing upfronts, global RPPs, or multi-quarter enterprise agreements with F500 advertisers.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Marketing, and Measurement to shape roadmaps, launch betas, and bring new solutions to market.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in the industry (e.g., speaking at client summits, industry events, or internal leadership forums).
  • Knowledge of performance marketing and advanced measurement, including incrementality, attribution, and clean-room or privacy-centric solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field.
