The position functions as a dispatch and logistics operations coordinator responsible for managing carriers, resolving transportation delays, and ensuring service level commitments are met.

As a Tekberry W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate rejected VIN assignments and coordinate re-dispatch of vehicles
  • Manage escalated vehicle movement issues with internal teams and carrier partners
  • Monitor transport holds and verification delays and take corrective action
  • Enter manual transportation orders and process requests using AS400 and AutoIMS systems
  • Process transportation fees and assessorial charges
  • Request and track hold harmless agreements and releases
  • Monitor and correct master data and location record discrepancies
  • Manage shared regional email inboxes and coordinate across locations
  • Create corrective action plans with vendors when service levels are missed
  • Build relationships with Manheim auction operations and commercial teams
  • Track carrier performance, delays, and service metrics
  • Compile transportation data and generate operational performance reports
  • Support operational margin awareness through timely dispatch and problem resolution
  • Identify operational problems and implement solutions quickly in a fast-paced environment
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, dealership operations, fleet operations, or brokerage operations
  • Strong outbound phone communication skills (frequent carrier/vendor calling required)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently within a structured operational workflow
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive auction, dealership, fleet, transportation, or freight experience
  • Dispatching, load planning, or broker coordination experience
  • Experience working directly with carriers or vendors
  • Call center experience involving operations coordination (not inbound retail support)
  • Experience in sales negotiation or vendor accountability
  • Some college coursework
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced logistics operations role involving:
  • Continuous operational phone communication
  • Real-time dispatch coordination
  • Performance tracking and service level accountability
  • High urgency problem resolution
  • Collaboration with carriers, auctions, and internal teams

Candidates should be comfortable handling pressure, negotiating with vendors, and making operational decisions throughout the day.
