Applicants should expect a highly systematic and deliberately paced fine dining restaurant service. Responsibilities & Duties • Handling reservations and making sure that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable experience • Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions • Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list, as necessary • Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions • Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas • Coordinate with Servers to ensure efficient service • Communicate with supervisors or management on any issue related to customers • Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred • Experience with OpenTable is an asset • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Capability of multi-tasking under pressure • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail • Friendly and outgoing personality • Ability to stay composed in challenging situations • Able to legally work in Canada Additional Information This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.
