Owens Group are looking for enthusiastic & conscientious HGV Class 2 drivers for our Cardiff operation working on Mon – Fri day shifts. Additional hours/shifts will be available if required.

Shift Patterns - Mon-Fri

£13.50 per hour (£14.50 per hour with relevant ADR qualification)

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)

A digital tachograph card and full CPC

Minimum 1 years of driving Class 2 is essential to be considered for the role

Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Good geographical knowledge

Excellent customer service

Driven Class 2 within the last 6 months

Previous multidrop experience

The Role:

Working for a fast paced family owned national company. Based at our Cardiff site, you will work a Mon – Fri on our modern fleet of new or nearly new trucks. You will be responsible for the following:

Providing excellent customer service

Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations

Pre-start Vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness

Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork

Excellent driving assessment and induction training programme with ongoing training opportunities including Driver CPC module updates
