The Role and Candidate

As our Health & Safety Coordinator - UK & Ireland,

you'll support the safe and compliant operation of our retail stores, offices and warehousing activities. You'll play a key role in building a strong safety culture across all locations, ensuring our teams operate in line with local legislation and internal standards.


Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety team, this role works closely with Store Managers, HR and Facilities teams. You'll be the go-to person for all things health & safety, offering hands-on support and strategic insight in equal measure


We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-orientated and confident in influencing others. You'll bring practical experience in H&S management and a passion for building safe, people focused environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with local health & safety laws and POP MART internal policies
  • Conduct and maintain risk assessments across stores, offices and warehouse sites
  • Carry out regular health & safety inspections and ensure follow-up on corrective actions
  • Support incident reporting, investigation and thorough documentation
  • Coordinate statutory safety training (e.g. fire safety, manual handling, first aid)
  • Lead safety inductions and briefings for new joiners and temporary staff
  • Organise periodic fire drills and emergency response checks
  • Maintain safety documentation and assist with internal and external audits
  • Provide day to day guidance to managers and team members on health & safety topics


Requirements

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in a health & safety role, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment
  • Solid knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and training delivery skills
  • Proven experience managing investigations and ensuring policy compliance
  • High attention to detail, problem solving mindset and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel between locations in London and occasionally to Ireland
