About the Role: We’re looking for a talented graphic designer who can bring to life complex concepts in a creative, engaging manner. You will collaborate with different teams across the organization to conceptualize and craft illustrations, infographics, flyers or any other material, as requested for our website on Squarespace. Your projects will need to stay in sync with brand guidelines but you'll have complete creative freedom. This position requires proficiency in design and web development. If you don't have that experience, please do not apply. This is an unpaid internship. This is a 6-month internship, best suited for majors and graduates in Graphic Design, Animation, Digital Marketing/Marketing, and Communication; relative subjects are considered. Responsibilities & Requirements include: • Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and understands when to use certain programs based on project requirements • Knowledge and understanding of the Principles of Design • Experience using Squarespace • Image retouching skills required • Creative thinker • Attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Adobe After Effects or Video/Animation skills is a bonus! • Ability to work independently, balanced with strong team collaboration skills • Must be a confident communicator and presenter who can clearly convey their concepts • Portfolio showcasing your work; If portfolio is not included, your application won't be considered. We’re looking for applicants that take initiative and deliver on tasks (big and small) efficiently to move into positions of leadership quickly. You are expected to work between 10-15 hours a week.
