We're looking for a Junior IT Hero to join our Service Desk team - the frontline crew that keeps our colleagues' tech running, calm during chaos, and occasionally saving the day 2 minutes before a big meeting. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you * Analyze requests received by the Service Desk through various channels (hotline, email, ticketing system) in accordance with troubleshooting guidelines, defined objectives, and SLAs, while adhering to relevant policies and procedures. * Act as the first point of contact for IT users, providing immediate first-level support and solutions to end users. * Accept, categorize, and process incidents and service requests, resolving simpler tickets independently. * Perform password resets and account activation/deactivation. * Handle and resolve issues related to email accounts. * Maintain the knowledge base to ensure it remains accurate and up to date. * Process incidents and escalate them in writing to experienced colleagues and the Functional Lead when necessary. * Carry out basic application installations and assign user permissions. * Provide support to Service Desk Agent colleagues. What you will need for successful work * You enjoy helping others solve problems (at work, in school, with family & friends) * You can stay calm and friendly even when someone is stressed or frustrated * You can explain tech in simple language, without jargon * You're curious and not afraid to say "I don't know yet, but I'll find out" * Basic comfort with computers (Windows, browsers, Office/M365 or similar) * Excellent language skills in German and English language skills required * Proficiency in basic IT concepts and operations from an end-user perspective.
