As a Laundry Attendant, you are a critical part of making that happen.</p></div></div><div><div><p>Your work is what allows every guest to sink into a bed that feels like it was made just for them, wrap up in a towel that smells clean and feels soft, and experience a level of care that goes well beyond what they expected. That is not a small thing. That is the kind of detail that turns a one-time guest into a loyal one.</p></div></div><div><div><p>You'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative housekeeping team in a fast-moving environment where your reliability and attention to detail make a real difference every single day. This is a role for someone who takes ownership of their workspace, their standards, and their contribution to the team.</p></div></div><div><div><p><b>What You'll Be Doing</b></p></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Washing, drying, ironing, and folding all guest room linens, as well as restaurant and catering linens, to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards</li><li>Keeping the laundry area and all common areas of the property clean, organized, and safe at all times</li><li>Performing daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms</li><li>Understanding and following proper procedures for the use of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals, including all relevant safety protocols</li><li>Assisting housekeepers and housemen as needed to support the overall housekeeping operation</li><li>Engaging with guests in a warm and helpful way when your paths cross, and making sure their stay is going well</li><li>Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate team members promptly</li><li>Helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for your entire team</li><li>Responding to fellow team members with a friendly, helpful attitude because how we treat each other is just as important as how we treat our guests</li></ul></div></div><p></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>What are we looking for?</b></span></p><p><b>What We're Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is a plus, though we're willing to train the right person</li><li>A neat, pleasant, and professional demeanor</li><li>Strong attention to detail; you notice things others miss and you take the time to get it right</li><li>Good time management skills and the ability to stay on task in a busy environment</li><li>Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with a team</li><li>Comfortable being on your feet and active throughout your entire shift</li><li>Ability to move, bend, reach corners at floor level and elevated heights, and detect odors or conditions that need attention</li><li>Able to safely navigate and push carts weighing up to 100 lbs. in tight spaces</li><li>Comfortable operating equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dustpans, scrub pads, and dusters</li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.</li></ul><p><b>Who Thrives Here</b></p><p>The people who do their best work in this role are the ones who find satisfaction in a job done well, even when no one is watching.
