VetsEZ is seeking a remote Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both front-end and back-end development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions throughout the development process. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using Java (Java EE, Java 17), Spring Framework, and Python, ensuring high performance and reliability. • Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular, optimizing for cross-browser compatibility. • Develop and manage server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and relational databases, integrating front-end and back-end components effectively. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while maintaining high code quality through peer reviews and adherence to development standards. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous integration. • Utilize testing frameworks such as Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright to validate functionality and address security vulnerabilities using industry best practices. • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful solution delivery. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Experience: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer supporting enterprise or government applications in an Agile environment. • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and object-oriented programming. • Front-End & Databases: Hands-on experience with React or Angular and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. • Version Control & arenaflex/CD: Experience using Git and modern arenaflex/CD pipelines. • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams. Additional Qualifications • Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, JUnit, and Playwright. • Familiarity with cloud environments and secure development practices. • Experience supporting federal or VA systems is a plus. • Ability to obtain and maintain required government background clearance.
