We’re looking for a Contract Senior Brand Designer / Creative Director to lead the creation of a new brand design system for Everlywell. As designers we often talk about impact—this role is exactly that. It is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll define the creative foundation of our brand, translate a clearly defined persona into a cohesive visual and expressive system, and ensure it scales across brand, marketing, web, and product experiences. This role is about elevating how Everlywell shows up in the world and expanding the visual toolkit so our brand book becomes a creative driver, not just a static guide. This is a rare opportunity to shape how millions of people experience a health brand, from first impression to ongoing engagement. You’ll help us to build a system that balances trust, humanity, and modernity (without falling into the “trendy” trap) at scale. In this role you will: Lead brand system creation: • Design and evolve a comprehensive brand design system that brings our persona, values, and positioning to life. • Define and document core brand elements including visual language, typography, color, layout, illustration/imagery direction, motion principles, and tone. • Create systems that are expressive yet practical and are built to scale across channels and teams. • Act as a creative lead while remaining deeply hands-on, designing key brand moments, templates, and foundations. Translate brand into real experiences: • Ensure the brand system is clearly translatable into marketing campaigns, website experiences, product UI, and supporting collateral. • Partner closely with product design to align brand expression with usability, accessibility, and conversion goals. • Set a high bar for craft across digital touchpoints, from concept through production. Cross‑functional partnership: • Collaborate with brand, marketing, product, and leadership to align creative vision with business goals, with support and input from design team. • Present work and rationale to senior stakeholders, building clarity, alignment, and momentum. What We’re Looking For: • 8+ years of experience in brand design, visual design, or creative direction, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong systems thinking and exceptional craft. • Proven experience building or re‑imagining a brand design system from the ground up. • Deep expertise in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy—down to the smallest details. • Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows; comfort working across brand and product contexts. • Ability to translate brand strategy, positioning, and persona into clear, compelling visual systems. • Experience balancing creativity with real‑world constraints like scale, timelines, and cross‑functional adoption. • Comfort defining principles and frameworks that guide others’ work—not just your own. • Clear, confident communicator who can articulate creative decisions and invite constructive debate. Work in a clear and thoughtful manner and be able to articulate the strategic thinking behind your creative process. • Collaborative partner who adapts quickly and doesn't shy away from direct feedback and shared ownership. You can also work autonomously with strong time management skills. • Experience working in fast‑moving environments where clarity and adaptability matter. Who You Are: • You’re as focused on outcomes as outputs—knowing that design is only powerful when it connects with real people. • Growth mindset, low-ego, and a sense of humor. • Curiosity about customers and passion for sweating the details where trust and credibility matter. • Have a deep understanding of design, branding and marketing processes. Bonus Points For: • Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or other trust‑driven consumer brands. • Background in digital product design or close collaboration with product teams. • Motion, video, or storytelling experience. • Experience scaling brands within high‑growth startups. Why You'll Love Working For Us: • A defining brand moment. You’ll help shape the next era of a category‑leading health brand. • Design with impact. Your work will influence how millions of people understand and trust their health. • High‑trust culture. We value autonomy, craft, and thoughtful collaboration. • Seat at the table. Designers here help define strategy—not just execute it. Ready to Build the Future of Health Branding? Apply with your resume and portfolio. We can’t wait to see how you turn strategy, persona, and purpose into a brand system that truly connects. Apply tot his job
