Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator (Overnight) to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including forklifts (STANDING & SITTING), to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and adherence to OSHA safety standards to ensure smooth operations during overnight shifts.

Duties

  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other heavy equipment for loading and unloading materials
  • Load and unload shipments while ensuring proper handling of goods
  • Assist with order picking and materials handling tasks in accordance with shipping and receiving schedules
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform minor maintenance or report issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during daily operations
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate tasks and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements

  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE OPERATING FORKLIFTS (STANDING & SITTING) WITHOUT ASSISTANCE IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory accuracy
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation
  • Warehouse experience is a plus
  • Valid certification for forklift operation preferred but not mandatory if willing to obtain upon hire
  • Physical stamina to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks

Pay: $19.00 per hour
