Food Truck Team Member (Driver, Cashier, and Cook)

We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Part-time Food Truck Team Member to join our operation in the Solano Area. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities, including driving the food truck, managing customer transactions as a cashier, and preparing food as a line cook. We are looking for someone with experience in the restaurant/food truck industry, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Truck Operations: Set up and operate the food truck, comfortably and safely drive a larger-sized vehicle, and ensure the food truck is up to code and clean.
  • Cashier Duties: Maintain a cheerful, friendly attitude, accurately operate the cash register, resolve customer needs professionally, take and fill orders, monitor order status, upsell add-ons, clean designated areas, and carry out opening or closing duties.
  • Cook Duties: Prepare and fix customer orders as they are placed, prep food as necessary, ensure food is restocked, and keep the work area clean.
  • Learn and operate our POS system and package food for customers.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Turn "difficult customers into loyal customers" with professionalism and sensitivity.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license (Required).
  • Comfortable driving a larger-sized vehicle.
  • Experience in the restaurant/food truck industry (preferred, but willing to train).
  • Cooking experience (1 year preferred, but willing to train).
  • Restaurant experience (1 year preferred).
  • Ability to learn new systems and tasks quickly.
  • Strong ability to interact positively with people and handle pressure.
  • Possess a positive attitude, ability to work in a team, and a strong work ethic.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess a desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
  • Basic math skills (1 year preferred).
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 15 to 30 hours per week (Depends on Events)
