This particular role is for a Corporate Flight Attendant who will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-flight service while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers on private jet flights. This position is primarily used for onboarding flight attendants contacted for completing per diem trips. Flight attendants play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout the flight, acting as the primary point of contact for clients on board. The Corporate Flight Attendant will provide a blend of hospitality and safety expertise required to manage all aspects of the flight experience. Key duties will include assisting passengers during emergencies, administering first aid including CPR and AED when necessary, securing the cabin per federal regulations during takeoff and landing, and reassuring passengers during turbulence or other flight irregularities. Flight attendants will conduct preflight briefings, manage inventory of food, beverages, and other supplies, and shop for any special items requested by passengers to meet their individual needs. Post-flight responsibilities involve cleaning and restocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck to ensure readiness for the next flight leg. Maintaining a high level of attention to detail is essential to fulfill all preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation accurately. Additionally, flight attendants will operate aircraft audio and video systems to enhance the passenger experience. This position requires flexibility, patience, and the ability to manage unpredictable schedules including short-notice deployments and overnight flights. Candidates for this flight attendant role should have a minimum of two years of experience in corporate flight attending and possess knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations. Completion of flight attendant-specific training through FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent institutions is preferred, along with annual recurrent training adherence. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must complete initial training before being assigned flights. Culinary skills and culinary training are important to meet the high hospitality standards expected. Multilingual proficiency and experience working with small children are additional assets. Solairus Aviation values physical fitness and the ability to perform all required duties including using the cabin management system, galley operation, managing heavy cabin doors, and lifting supplies.
