Job Description
The Data Analyst will support both day to day operations and forward looking forecast updates for the PPB business unit.

This role requires partnering with finance colleagues and key business partners to gather, organize, and interpret data to meet reporting and planning needs.
The ideal candidate should be able to structure dispersed data, plan effectively with stakeholders, and deliver insightful analysis efficiently.

Familiarity with automation and AI tools (such as Microsoft CoPilot) is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Work with structured and unstructured data from various systems to produce meaningful summaries that provide clear insights on progress vs. plan.
Translate analytical findings into recommendations aligned with planning cycles.
Collaborate cross functionally and globally across businesses and regions.
Monitor capital and operating spend vs. plan; identify variances, timing risks, and unplanned exposure, and articulate findings clearly.
Update standard reports (P&L and Balance Sheet) to support company wide reporting and financial planning processes.


Required Technical Skills
Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Basic GAAP accounting understanding (P&L, Balance Sheet)
Proficiency with AI tools, particularly CoPilot, including ability to structure prompts for workflow automation
Excellent attention to detail


Preferred / Optional Technical Skills
Understanding of financial planning & analysis (forecasting, budgeting, scenario modelling, strategic planning)
Ability to provide actionable insights based on financial analysis
Experience developing dashboards using automated data extraction, transformation, analysis, and summarization

Soft Skills
Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate analysis and findings
Ability to think clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
