The role will include performing day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions, and dealing with customer and supplier queries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>Medux UK is the UK business of Medux International, the European market leader in mobility aids. The UK group comprises 3 business units:</p><ul><li>Medequip is a leading provider of community equipment services to local authorities and the NHS</li><li>Ross Care is a leading provider of wheelchair services</li><li>Consolor is a specialist clinical seating provider with a full manufacturing operation based in Totton.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>As the Consolor Accounts Assistant you will:</p><ul><li>Assist with supplier and customer queries in a timely manner.</li><li>Process purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices and credit notes.</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.</li><li>Cross-check invoices, process payments, and manage expense payments.</li><li>Support the Management Accountant in ad-hoc finance tasks and projects.</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the wider finance team as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role is desirable.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and some knowledge of accounting software is desirable (any experience with Syspro is a plus).</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal.</li></ul><p>We welcome applications from all sections of the Community as an Equal Opportunities Employer.
