Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to assist with routine laboratory tasks and support daily operations for day shift. This position offers flexible part-time scheduling, with some rotating weekend work, making it a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain laboratory experience. No prior professional lab experience or degree is required, but basic laboratory knowledge or familiarity with lab environments is helpful. Pay is based on experience.

Duties

  • Conduct microbiological testing in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards
  • Assist with routine laboratory tasks and sample preparation
  • Label, organize, and store samples and materials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
  • Prepare basic lab supplies and materials for testing
  • Record simple data and maintain accurate logs
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and safety guidelines
  • Assist senior staff with basic lab support tasks as needed

Experience

  • No degree required
  • No prior professional experience required (training will be provided)
  • Basic understanding of laboratory practices or interest in laboratory work preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records
  • Dependable and able to work independently for short shifts
