This is an entry-level role into Finance and would be suitable for a school leaver or someone entering Finance for the first time. 


Accounting


  • Supporting the Finance Team at month-end by performing data extraction and other projects as required.
  • Assist other members in the Finance Team to ensure that all invoices and postings are correctly coded within the GL
  • Providing aspects of the business with ad hoc pieces of analysis work as and when required.
  • Support to Accounts Payable by ensuring all invoices/expenses and other documentation correctly filed on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in the upkeep of supplier details within the AP system.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and be able to answer queries autonomously.
  • Project support to the Finance Team across audit, business partnering and systems improvement.
  • Working with our systems, processes and reporting platforms to support business performance and day to day management.
  • Take responsibility for our basic office admin tasks

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience


  • Currently or willing to commence studying towards AAT or CIMA (study package available to support this)
  • Interest in Financial Services/banking desirable but not essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good Excel and IT skills

Qualifications

  • 3 A-Levels (A*-C) or equivalent
  • B equivalent in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
