<p><strong>Job Title: Director Amazon/Growth & Strategy </strong></p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> CEO</p><p>For local candidates, we offer a hybrid schedule with one day per week in the office in Bayonne, NJ; candidates outside the tri-state area may work fully remote. The role is open to either full-time or part-time (20 hours per week).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Works with:</strong> E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Ops, Brand, Finance, Creative</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>You’ll own Amazon as a revenue channel not just manage listings or ads.</p><p>You set the strategy, control the budget, and decide what success looks like.</p><p>You’re responsible for revenue, margin, visibility, and brand equity on Amazon.</p><p>This is a cross-functional role with direct impact on company growth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Own</strong></p><p>Channel Strategy & Growth</p><ul><li>Own the Amazon P&L, revenue targets, and growth roadmap</li><li>Decide what SKUs live on Amazon vs. DTC and why</li><li>Pull growth levers: pricing, assortment, promos, ads, content</li></ul><p>PDPs & Content</p><ul><li>Control catalog quality and listing hygiene</li><li>Deliver top-tier PDPs: video, imagery, A+, reviews, SEO</li><li>Own execution with input from Creative, Brand, and Marketing</li><li>Optimize based on performance and algorithm changes</li></ul><p>Advertising & Demand Capture</p><ul><li>Lead Sponsored Ads and DSP strategy</li><li>Manage budget for efficient growth</li><li>Run creative testing: video, UGC, PDP-native content</li><li>Sync insights with broader paid media teams</li></ul><p>Merchandising & Launches</p><ul><li>Run Prime Day, coupon strategy, and deal calendar</li><li>Drive launches and protect hero SKUs</li><li>Own storefront and on-platform merchandising</li></ul><p>Inventory & Ops</p><ul><li>Work with Ops and Finance on forecasts</li><li>Flag risks early: stockouts, fees, margin issues</li><li>Navigate Amazon-specific logistics: FBA, compliance</li></ul><p>Reporting & Insights</p><ul><li>Build reporting around revenue, CAC, margin, share, rank, velocity</li><li>Turn insights into action</li><li>Identify white-space and product opportunities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You Have:</strong></p><ul><li>6–10+ years owning Amazon as a revenue channel</li><li>Proven success scaling Amazon beyond maintenance mode</li><li>Hands-on ads experience (not outsourced)</li><li>P&L ownership and a test-and-learn mindset</li><li>Experience with premium brands and protecting brand equity</li><li>Strong instincts across content, conversion, and strategy</li></ul><p></p>
