Technical Documentation: Create flat sketches and technical specifications for styles designed by senior team members. Presentation Preparation: Support in preparing presentations for various stages of the design process, including file setup, mock-Taskium, and prototypes. Fitting Participation: Attend fittings and design/product-related meetings to capture feedback and actions. File Management: Update overview files and line sheets to maintain accurate records. Shadowing Design Work: Observe and learn from critical design work to develop your design perspective Market Research: Stay informed of current color trends, art, fashion, design, and sport-related products through market research to keep ahead of consumer needs. qualifications Education: A BA, BFA, or BS in Design (or equivalent) is required. Experience: 0-2 years of industry experience is preferred. Work Examples: Portfolio link or PDF to be submitted with application is preferred Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, and Mac platforms is also required. Knitwear Experience: Experience and understanding of knitted fabrics and sweaters is highly beneficial, with experience in seamless knitwear considered a plus but not required.
