Data & Analytics Consultant:

London (Hybrid)
Permanent | £50k - £60k + benefits/bonus

I am partnering with a specialist data and analytics consultancy that works across the UK and internationally. They are looking to hire a Data & Analytics Consultant to join their high-performance team.

Summary:

This is a hands-on consulting role focused on delivering real commercial value through data.

You will work directly with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges, design robust Power BI reporting solutions, and develop advanced analytical models. Engagements typically begin with building high-quality semantic models and dashboards, before progressing into deeper analytical work including predictive modelling and workflow automation.

This role suits someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and comfortable working independently in a client-facing environment.

Technical Skills (Essential):

  • Strong Power BI experience (advanced DAX, dimensional modelling, performance optimisation)
  • Professional dashboard and semantic model development
  • Fluent SQL (complex joins, transformations, optimisation)
  • Python for analysis (pandas, statistics, scikit-learn)
  • Advanced Excel skills

Experience & Background:

  • proven experience in consulting or fast-moving commercial environments
  • Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders
  • Clear and confident communication skills

Desirable:

  • DBT
  • Snowflake or BigQuery
  • Jupyter notebooks
  • Git / version control
  • Exposure to AI-assisted analytics or automation tools
