Our Channel Store Operations team ensures that customers have the best possible experience anywhere Apple products are sold. Customer experience combines physical (display and merchandising), digital touch points, and advocacy (selling experience).<br><br>As a Consumer Program Manager, you will be responsible for the management of merchandising solutions in our major US Consumer Accounts. This includes the planning, design, installation, maintenance and execution of seasonal product refreshes and new product introductions in collaboration with internal and external partners. You will work closely with US Sales, Marketing, World Wide Programs, Operations, Finance and Procurement teams to establish and maintain in-store strategies to grow US Channel sales. Additionally, you will liaise with Apple-approved vendors during seasonal product refreshes and new product introductions. Your success will be in the depth of your relationships, internal and external, as much as the quality of your delivery.<br><br><strong>Description<br><br></strong>In this role, you will:<br><br><ul><li> Manage Apple branded and non-branded merchandising solutions/fixture programs across major US Consumer Electronics partners</li><li> Coordinate the deployment, relocation or replacement of Apple programs in partnership with Apple-approved vendors and US Consumer Electronics retailers</li><li> Own program forecasts, budgets and invoicing in coordination with US Sales, Procurement and Finance</li><li> Collaborate with World Wide and US Marketing Communications and Programs to deliver best in class retail execution of new product introductions</li><li> Update and maintain point of sale (POS) landscape details in Apple internal systems and cross-functional reports</li><li> Contribute to the definition, development and streamlining of internal and external non-branded processes from initial design to partner execution</li><li> Own communication of marketing, merchandising and demo security guidelines to stakeholders during new product introductions</li><li> Influence without authority. Operate as a liaison between Apple-approved graphic vendors, fixture vendors and US Consumer Electronics partners</li><li> Partner with Demo Technology team to pilot, test and scale strategic initiatives</li><li> Report status on branded and non-branded programs on a quarterly basis to leadership</li><li> Benchmark and share best practices with US and Worldwide teams<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience</li><li>Background in merchandising, retail operations, and/or similar function</li><li>Deep knowledge of visual merchandising and aligning to a design aesthetic</li><li>Exposure to merchandising, fixture design, construction management, or retail development</li><li>Outstanding communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities, strategies, and timescales</li><li>Track record of successful budget management in excess of $1M or more</li><li>Strong analytical and business modeling skills in Excel and other reporting tools</li><li>Passion for the customer and partner experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deep understanding of the retail consumer market (e.g., customer profiles, trends, challenges, opportunities, competitive landscape, etc.) is highly preferred</li><li>Familiarity with Apple’s brand and general product knowledge is a plus</li><li>Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners</li><li>Comfort managing ambiguity and ability to aggregate information from multiple sources to formulate a cohesive strategy or direction</li><li>Ability to analyze trends, develop insights, and identify opportunities to create solutions and drive business growth</li><li>Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to drive what matters<br><br></li></ul><strong>Pay & Benefits<br><br></strong>At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.<br><br>Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
