Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and community-focused ShareCare Community Assistant, working 3pm-9pm, 5 days a week, alternation weekend to support our Community Liaisons in delivering exceptional care and engagement to the residents we serve. This role is ideal for an experienced caregiver who enjoys building relationships, organizing community activities, supporting field staff, and representing a mission-driven home care organization.

You will play a vital role in helping us expand our ShareCare Model, ensuring clients, families, and caregivers receive the highest level of support, communication, and engagement.

Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Wellness Support

  • Assist Community Liaisons with planning, organizing, and hosting Wellness Programs, monthly activities, and fun engagement events for residents.
  • Support Wellness Evaluations with new and existing clients to ensure care needs are accurately assessed.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, engaging, and proactive presence within assigned communities.

Caregiver Support & Field Supervision

  • Assist with supervisory visits for caregivers to ensure performance, client satisfaction, and compliance with ShareCare standards.
  • Participate in training and shadowing new caregivers, including reinforcing the ShareCare Model and best practices.
  • Cover caregiver shifts when needed—this is a mandatory part of the role to ensure continuity of client care.
  • Must be able to work alternating weekends
  • Provide real-time support, guidance, and communication between caregivers, clients, and Community Liaisons.

Administrative & Marketing Duties

  • Assist the Community Liaison with scheduling, documentation, and activity planning.
  • Support marketing efforts within communities, including distributing materials, representing the agency at events, and promoting ShareCare services and seasonal campaigns.
  • Help track activities, wellness visits, and program participation as needed.

Skills

  • 2 years or more of caregiving experience required; CNA certification.
  • Passion for community engagement, wellness programs, and senior support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Community Liaisons, CMO, and CEO.
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to cover care shifts as needed. Must have transportation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage both field and administrative responsibilities.
  • Professional, compassionate, and committed to upholding the ShareCare Model.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
