Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a talented and passionate Mezze/Cold Starter Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding for Turkish cuisine and a proven ability to create visually stunning and delicious cold starters. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing a variety of cold mezze dishes with an emphasis on authenticity and presentation.
  • Ensuring the highest quality of ingredients and maintaining consistency in flavour and appearance.
  • Collaborating with the head chef and kitchen staff to develop and refine recipes.
  • Managing portion control and food waste.
  • Assisting other duties and members of the kitchen to create a collaborative working environment
  • Upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mezze/Cold Starter Chef or in a similar role within a Turkish or Mediterranean restaurant.
  • In-depth knowledge of Turkish mezze and cold starter dishes.
  • Strong culinary skills and creativity in presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • A passion for Turkish cuisine and culture.
