Job Description

Role: Exceptional Cleaner

Company: Maid In Surrey Hills Ltd

Location: Farnham and surrounding areas (typically within a 15-minute drive of Farnham)

About Us: We deliver outstanding domestic and office cleaning services. We work in partnership with our cleaners to create regular schedules that work for them.

Hours: c.10-15 hours per week. With plenty of flexibilty to suit the candidate, typically working with one or two clients per day, between 9am and 3pm (perfect for working parents).

Role: A regular part-time schedule, on weekdays. Working with regular clients. A great role for someone looking to work flexibly around other commitments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salary of £15 per hour (for those who are self employed).
  • Option to opt to work as an employee, paid at the living wage.
  • We work in partnership with our cleaners to create flexible schedules to suit them.
  • We work from Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm.

About the Role:

We're searching for an Exceptional Cleaner to join our team and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. We're looking for someone with great attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for creating a clean and organised space. You'll also have the ability to respond to our clients' varying needs. Most of all, you'll enjoy working with people to improve their home setting each time you visit.

Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, windows, and surfaces.
  • Detailing: Pay close attention to detail, ensuring hard-to-reach areas are cleaned, polished or disinfected.
  • Organisation: Maintain a tidy and organised environment.
  • Hygiene: Adhere to high standards of hygiene and sanitation, using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques.
  • Communication: you’ll have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and management and articulate problems and solutions.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks to meet the needs of our customers.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Experience as a domestic or office cleaner
  • Skills: Excellent cleaning skills, knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, physical stamina, and attention to detail.
  • Qualities: Reliable, punctual, proactive, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Communication: Able to understand and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Ability: to drive to local areas, use GPS and have a reliable mobile with data.
