We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a fast-growing sports gaming and technology company based in Paris.

The CFO will play a critical leadership role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting the continued expansion of the business.

This role requires a strategic finance leader with strong operational capability, experience in high-growth digital businesses, and ideally exposure to gaming, sports betting, fintech, or online platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive financial performance, support international expansion, and ensure best-in-class financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

1. Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy
2. Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board
3. Provide financial insight to support growth, profitability, and capital allocation
4. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management

Financial Operations

5. Oversee all finance, accounting, treasury, and tax functions
6. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and management accounts
7. Implement scalable financial systems and processes to support business growth
8. Manage working capital, liquidity, and cash flow forecasting

Regulatory & Compliance

9. Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and financial regulatory requirements
10. Oversee internal controls, audit processes, and risk management frameworks
11. Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and external advisors

Commercial Finance

12. Provide financial analysis and decision support across product, marketing, and operations
13. Develop KPI frameworks to track customer acquisition, retention, and profitability
14. Support pricing strategy, marketing investment decisions, and operational efficiency

Corporate Development

15. Support fundraising, investor relations, and potential M&A activity
16. Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial partners
17. Prepare financial materials for Board and shareholder reporting

Team Leadership

18. Build and lead a high-performing finance team
19. Drive a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability
20. Work cross-functionally with product, technology, and operations teams

Experience

21. Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader
22. Experience within sports gaming, betting, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth tech businesses is highly desirable
23. Track record of working in international or regulated environments
24. Experience managing investor relationships and capital raising is beneficial
