<strong>About The Job<br><br></strong>The Category Analyst, Kroger/Harris teeter will serve as a member of the Category Team, being an unbiased analytic and category leadership expert using the category management process as a decision platform for all initiatives designed to optimize category performance at the customer. This role will strive to be an expert on the category, data, and technology associated with the category and Kroger / Harris Teeter.<br><br>Work closely with the Category and Sales Teams to support the category and Danone’s business in an efficient and effective manner. This position requires both data and business savvy, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills to provide consultative category management to the customer.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Perform analyses and use data to drive category insights that help shape the category vision</li><li> Collect and mine through syndicated and retailer specific data to create insights to understand which levers drive category growth across customer demographics and markets to drive growth for category and Danone</li><li> Perform competitive analysis by category to identify trends, opportunities and challenges to core business areas</li><li> Perform category and channel analysis for customer(s) to drive category growth period over period</li><li> Discover and share category trends, fair share opportunity gaps, and share of wallet and leakage opportunities for customer(s)</li><li> Create reports that include Customer market and rest of market performance, distribution grids, new product tracking, velocity reports, and pricing & promotion analysis</li><li> Establish strong knowledge of the customer/category<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key performance metrics<br><br></strong><ul><li> Category sales and sales growth (Kroger and Harris Teeter)<br><br></li></ul><strong>Scope Of Managerial And Leadership Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> No direct reports<br><br></li></ul>The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
