Job Description: This role requires an individual with excellent business acumen, communication skills, and technical expertise, enabling effective collaboration across various functions including Product Managers, Data Engineers, Finance, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and senior leadership. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and embraces challenges, demonstrating competence in handling complex publisher datasets and open business problems. Key Responsibilities: • Review existing data challenges to deliver a comprehensive solution with appropriate data strategy and tools • Design, develop, build, and maintain scalable data solutions, including infrastructure, pipeline, reporting, to support long-term business strategies • Simplify and re-invent current data solutions to support the business scope expansion • Translate business problems into data questions, find solutions to solve those questions with resourcefulness • Identify areas of opportunities and present analytical findings and recommendations to business leadership • Work cross-functionally with other teams in various job families to gather data sources to provide a comprehensive view of the business, inclusive of supply, demand, sales, operations, shopper, etc. • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting/analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation • Design, build and maintain metrics and reports on program health • Respond to ad hoc requests from business leaders to investigate critical aspects of customer behavior, e.g. how many customers use a given feature or fit a given profile, deep dive into unusual patterns, and exploratory data analysis Job Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets • 7+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines • Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions • Strong working knowledge of SQL • Graduate degree in math/statistics, computer science or related field, or marketing is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders Location: Seattle, WA Zip Code: 98121 Keyword"s: #Seattlejobs; #BusinessIntelligenceEngineerjobs; Start Date: Right Away #ZR If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
