Business Development Representative

Primary Function: This position is primarily responsible for performing off-site outreach communications and tasks necessary to create and maintain referral pipelines that drive appropriate admissions while protecting clinical integrity and outcomes.

Supervision:????? Supervised by the Director of Business Development

Essential Functions:

Develop relationships with key professionals and other community members who can assist individuals in accessing the services of Harmony Recovery.

Educate partners on services, levels of care and clinical programming.

Represent the organization professionally within the community and treatment network.

Contribute to strategic growth planning and market positioning.

Track outreach activities, referral sources and performance metrics with Salesforce CRM.

Attends local and out of state conferences to promote armony Harmony and build new relationships.

Remain knowledgeable and current on treatment landscape to facilitate appropriate external referrals.

Manages a book of business in assigned markets.

Schedules and hosts on-site visits on the Harmony campus.

Maintains knowledge and adheres to Harmony policies and procedures.

Adheres to confidentiality laws, including 42CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and HITECH, as well as all Harmony policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor?s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Must have a minimum of two years? experience in the field of marketing, sales, or business development.

Previous experience in the addiction field and/or with a non-profit organization is preferred.

Must have the ability to organize, manage, and produce measurable and positive marketing results.

Must have a valid Colorado driver?s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record if driving a Harmony vehicle or driving for Harmony business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of the addiction treatment continuum of care, including detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient services.

Ability to build trust-based relationships across clinical and community systems.

Understanding of clinical appropriateness level of care criteria, and ethical placement standards.

Knowledge of payer systems, insurance processes, and access to care barriers.

Ability to speak effectively in front of large audiences and small groups.

Ability to manage competing priorities in fast paced environments.

Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

Proven ability to motivate self and others.

Ability to work independently while functioning as part of an integrated team.

Ability to assess appropriateness of referrals and facilitate alternative placement when needed.

Personal maturity is reflected by sound judgment and decision-making.

Ability to work a variety of hours throughout the work week including weekends when needed.

Ability to track and maintain records on work performed.?
