Business Development Manager, Independent Contractor Acquisition<br>Remote London, UK<br>Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.<br>The Role<br>Square’s mission is to power all the ways small businesses do business, helping UK merchants operate more efficiently, grow confidently, and unlock new opportunities. As we expand our contractor‑led sales channel, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to source, attract, and activate a growing network of self‑employed independent sales contractors who will champion Square’s hardware and software solutions in the field. In this role, you will own the front end of our contractor ecosystem—identifying high‑potential individuals, presenting the Square opportunity, and ensuring they are set up for success from day one. You’ll combine hands‑on outbound activity with strategic pipeline management, building a robust community of motivated sales partners who can drive new merchant adoption. This is a dynamic, field‑facing position requiring a strong commercial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage and influence independent professionals. Some regional and national travel should be expected. Reporting to the Channel Sales Lead, this role offers remote working within the UK.<br>You Will<br>Proactively identify, engage, and attract self‑employed sales contractors capable of representing Square’s Salary: GBP 36000 - 60000 per year
