Surrey Maths School (SuMS) is a specialist 16-19 Maths School which opened in Guildford in September 2024 to serve students across the South East, aiming to become a hub of excellence for the teaching of the mathematical sciences.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable school administration apprentice assistant to join our school office. In this key role, you will be the welcoming face of the school as our receptionist, while also providing essential daily support with monitoring student attendance. You will support key administrative functions including reception duties, attendance monitoring and general office tasks.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to enhance their administrative skills in a school environment while undertaking a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
The post holder will be required to work between 36 hours per week term-time only, with three additional weeks during the school holidays.

• Able to communicate clearly with students, staff, parents and visitors
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Motivated to complete a Business Administration apprenticeship (level 3)
• Commitment to the vision and values of Surrey Maths School.
• Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
• First Aid Certificate (training will be provided if not held)
