Company Description: Gagne & Son was owned and run by the Gagne family for 75 years and was recently acquired by a Maine based family office. Gagne has been manufacturing and selling our own manufactured, as well as third party, masonry products, precast products, concrete blocks, pavers, retaining walls and natural stone since 1945. Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain block machine, batching, handling, and packaging equipment.
  • Maintain production set goals and quality expectations.
  • Perform scheduled equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate with supervisor and fellow team members on quality, safety, equipment.
  • Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components.
  • Maintain highest attention to safety at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Ability and willingness to learn and be trained
  • Safety minded when performing tasks
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) may be required
  • Mechanically inclined and ability to stand for the entire shift
