FIND are delighted to be working in partnership with a well established and growing, Surrey based training provider to hire an Early Years Apprenticeship Tutor.<br> <br> Our client specialise in supporting Early Years, Teaching Assistant and wider Childcare training, helping learners flourish and meet sector standards. <br><br>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assessor/Tutor to join our established team. This is a pivotal role supporting learners undertaking qualifications in Early Years, ensuring they gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed. You will deliver engaging learning sessions, provide constructive feedback, and assess knowledge and competence across work-based learning programmes.<br> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br> <ul> <li>Support a caseload of learners across Early Years qualifications, guiding their professional development journey.</li> <li>Plan, deliver, and assess teaching, learning, and assessment activities in line with awarding organisation requirements.</li> <li>Provide personalised support and feedback, enabling learners to achieve their apprenticeship standards and qualifications.</li> <li>Carry out workplace observations, assessments, and progress reviews with accuracy, fairness, and integrity.</li> <li>Uphold high standards of safeguarding, well-being, and inclusion for all learners in line with organisational and legislative expectations.</li> <li>Accurately maintain learner progress records, reporting on achievement and providing updates to relevant stakeholders.</li> <li>Promote positive behaviour, equal opportunities, and diversity throughout all learning activities.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with internal colleagues, employers, and external partners to maximise learner success</li> </ul> <strong>Personal Specification</strong><br> <ul> <li>Hold an appropriate assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, D32/D33, A1, or equivalent).</li> <li>Possess a teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.</li> <li>Relevant occupational experience in the Early Years sector</li> <li>Excellent organisation, administration, and time management skills.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support a diverse learner cohort.</li> <li>Proficient IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms.</li> <li>Commitment to safeguarding, promoting equality and diversity, and continuous professional development.</li> <li>Ability to inspire, motivate, and maintain high levels of learner engagement.</li> <li>Full driving licence and access to transport (role may require site visits)</li> </ul> <strong>What We Offer</strong><br> <ul> <li>Competitive salary dependent on experience</li> <li>25 days annual leave + bank holidays</li> <li>2 Volunteer days each year + 1 wellbeing day</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and CPD within a supportive, forward-thinking organisation.</li> <li>Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance - remote, hybrid, and field-based options available.</li> <li>Commitment to an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture.</li> <li>Industry-leading training resources and mentoring support.</li> </ul>
