<h3>Job Title</h3>Algorithm Engineer – Medical Imaging (Bedford, MA)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><b>Algorithm Engineer – Medical Imaging (Bedford, MA) </b></p><p></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated Algorithm Engineer to design, implement, and validate algorithms that strengthen Philips’ imaging capabilities across multiple clinical modalities to bring cutting‑edge imaging solutions from concept to deployment.</p><p></p><p><b>Your role:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with clinical, engineering, and data science teams to define imaging‑related algorithmic solutions. Work closely with product managers, clinical partners, and QA to present updates and technical findings.</p></li><li><p>Design, implement, and test image‑processing algorithms in Python, C, and C++, while supporting deployment and integration with a focus on software quality. Troubleshoot and debug performance issues as needed.</p></li><li><p>Source, curate, and annotate medical imaging datasets to support model development. Use clinical and phantom data to train and validate segmentation, classification, and reconstruction models.</p></li><li><p>Document code, algorithm designs, and validation methods to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Contribute to regulatory documentation and quality‑assurance workflows related to algorithm development.</p></li><li><p>Explore opportunities to learn GPU/CUDA optimization techniques. Demonstrate continuous improvement and actively share knowledge across teams.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>You're the right fit if: </b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>You earned a Master’s or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or biomedical imaging.  Exposure to medical imaging or biological signals is a plus.</p></li><li><p>You have experience developing algorithms using Python and/or C/C++ as well as familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
